Coaching
I offer a safe space to think through ideas and situations that arise at work, shaped by my training in Relational Executive Coaching.
My coaching plans start with short term single-issue executive coaching, through to longer term business coaching. Sessions can be online, or in-person if you’re based in South West England.
For organisations, I have coaching to support staff teams or individual contracted sessions. Find out more below:

OD Plan - for organisations wanting to support staff team development with 1-1 coaching, either short or long term.
ID Plan - for individuals looking at short term single-issue coaching - a series of six sessions over an agreed timeframe.
LT Plan - for individuals wanting longer term Executive Coaching.

About John
With over three decades of management, commissioning ,strategic and business development experience with roles both in NHS and Local Authority public services and private sector business, I specialise in supporting people to unleash their energy and potential through a relational coaching approach.
My practice combines a focus on self-actualisation, personal creativity and recognising that past experiences have an impact on current issues using strength-based, solution-focused techniques. By focusing on the here and now, we can enable conversations that lead to new directions.
My journey began in arts and music therapy and community education, where I discovered my passion for relational work and communication. This foundation has informed my entire career, from developing non-verbal communication programmes in the voluntary sector to managing complex organisational change in the public and private sector.

Head of Strategic Commissioning for Children with Special Needs , Devon County Council, managing multi-million-pound budgets and complex stakeholder relationships.
Joint Agency Management role in the NHS, integrating Health, Social Care, and Education Services for children with additional needs.
Deafblind Services Manager for a national charity, leading multi-sensory impairment services. I later became a Consultant for the charity which included developing groundbreaking Education and Care programmes in Romania during the 1990s.
